Do you love smallmouth fishing? If you are like me you might put them well below Trout and Steelhead on your list of favorite species to target. However, if you are like my good buddy Dillon (the Dogman), you live and breathe Smallie fishing. When you click the video, you will get to see the little tweaks Dillon has been making to the Murdich Minnows in his box with many years of riverside research. From size to flash levels, to movement and materials, I’m confident this video will leave you with the knowledge of how to tie one of the most productive and crispy Smallmouth Bass Fishing flies; a must have in your arsenal for the upcoming season.

This is the very first tying video of what I hope to be many. Dillon and I were talking the other day about our favorite tying and fishing resources. What we realized is, they may not be the most popular tutorials, but we love a good on camera knowledge-packed rant full of useful information. So, we are aiming to highlight the fishing-specific aspects of why we tie flies the way we do. Anyway, watch it, let us know what you think.
